Adam Weintraub

Founder of Museo del Pisco and three-time president of the Blue Earth Alliance, Adam Weintraub is a charismatic guide, author, accomplished photographer, and passionate Pisco connoisseur with decades of experience leading high-end custom tours in all parts of Peru and Colombia. Originally from Seattle, Adam was inspired by Peru’s vibrant culture during an extended backpacking trip across South America at an early age and later moved to Cusco where he met his wife. Adam has since developed one of the Peru’s foremost photography guides and specializes in leading high-end custom journeys that offers cultural and culinary insights. It wasn’t until later that Adam discovered his passion for Pisco during a trip to the Amazon (“A bottle a day keeps the insects away!”)… In 2012, Adam co-founded Museo del Pisco in Cusco and has since opened two new Museos in Arequipa and Lima.

Tailor-Made Peruvian Photography Tours

For those who are interested in Peru’s eclectic photography scene, we can arrange for Adam to lead your journey upon special request (we  recommend requesting six to eighteen months in advance). These photography-focused Peru journeys with Adam introduce the defining works and prevailing styles of a collection of Peruvian photographers, from Martín Chambi and Mario Testino to contemporaries like Javier Silva, and offer new ideas for how you may capture National Geographic-caliber photos in many different settings.
